Today We Escape is an intimate fiction short by director Floris van Severen about Olav, whose arrival in his friend Aaron’s family quietly tips the household’s dynamics off balance. It is a film of small shifts rather than big events, and the camera stays close and observational, reading the family through glances and proximity rather than exposition.
