Moonlight Woman is a fiction short directed by Griet Elsen, following Sarah, entangled in a private struggle, as a mysterious sound begins to haunt her days and nights until one sleepless night she decides to follow it. The premise is built on the unseen — a sound with no source — and the cinematography works in the same register, using darkness, suggestion and the edges of the frame to keep the threat just out of view. Photographed by Victor Maes.
